 Bhaya

Launched in July 2007, the first Bhaya cruise ship features twenty luxurious cabins furnished in classical style. The ship can accommodate up to 40 passengers for either 1day/2nights cruise or 3days/2nights cruise in Halong Bay. In November 2008, Bhaya will be accompanied by the launch of her sister ship. Together, the two ships offer 40 luxurious cabins and suites and an exciting array of activities and facilities for you to enjoy as you discover the scenic delights of Halong Bay.

Cabins

All our Deluxe cabins and Suites are well appointed, with traditional Vietnamese hardwood creating a luxuriant warmth. Light materials and large windows ensure that each cabin is bright and airy. Hand-crafted hardwood furniture, gold and white fittings, and delicate upholstery further enhance the warmth and light in each cabin.

 

Deluxe Cabins

Our Deluxe cabin (12.5m2) offers all the amenities necessary for you to feel comfortable: twin beds or a queen-size bed, air-conditioner, wall fan, refrigerator, en-suite bathroom with shower. Each features a picture window, providing added light and memorable views.

 

 

Bhaya Suites

Our two Bhaya Suites (14.5m2) are located on either side of the forward section of the lower deck. Each Bhaya Suite includes a queen-size bed and all the amenities of a Deluxe cabin, plus sweeping 180° water-level ocean views, and direct access to the forward lower deck public viewing area.

 

 

 

Royal Suites

Our two sumptuous Royal Suites (16.5m2) are located in the forward section of the upper deck, offering panoramic 180° ocean views. Each Royal Suite offers all the standard amenities of a Bhaya Suite, plus a larger en-suite bathroom with bath-tub, a plush sofa and exclusive access to a private viewing area on the upper deck

The Dining Room & Bar
Dining is one of the highlights of the Bhaya. In an atmosphere of elegant luxury, you can enjoy a wonderful array of Vietnamese and International cuisines, served by waitresses in traditional costume. Our lavish Dining Room can cater for a romantic dinner, or a festive group banquet in imperial splendor, just meters from the scenic wonders of Halong Bay,. Adjoining the Dining Room, Bhaya’s Bar is perfect for a relaxing aperitif. The bar serves an extensive selection of lagers, liquors, exotic cocktails and light snacks until late.

The Sundeck and Topside Bar
With its comfortable lounge chairs, fresh ocean breezes and dazzling views, the Sundeck is the perfect place to lie back and relax. Serving up an impressive variety of cocktails in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, the Topside Bar is a delightful place to socialize and watch the Sun dip behind the myriad islands of Halong Bay.

Beauty Spa and Massage
Located on the upper deck aft, our Beauty Spa and Massage sets new standards in spa design through its unique combination of natural tones, water elements, and traditional Vietnamese style.

On board Activities
Swimming, snorkeling and kayaking in the crystal clear turquoise waters of Halong Bay are favored activities for the energetic. While morning Tai Chi on the sundeck offers a more meditative and uplifting start for the more contemplative. Adventure outings, tour excursions, cooking demonstrations and theme cruises are also available by prior arrangement.

Check-in at Bhaya Café, Halong City
Embark on Bhaya Classic for a Welcome Cocktail followed by a cruise briefing

Savor a delicious Vietnamese buffet lunch as Bhaya Classic heads to Bai Tu Long Bay passing the towns of Hon Gai and Cam Pha, Oan Lagoon, Mat Quy (Monster Head) and Am Tich (Teapot) Islets and Vung Vieng fishing village.

15:30 – 17:00

Visit the fishing village by tender (30 minutes each) then return to the vessel for free time at your leisure or join one of the following optional activities:
Discover the fishing village by local rowing boat;
Kayak into the village or swim near the boat;
Optional onboard activities: Sunbathing, traditional massage, etc.;
Trip by tender to an isolated pristine beach for swimming, snorkeling, etc.

Explore the Surprise Cave (Sung Sot).

Return to Bhaya Classic. Buffet brunch is served onboard. The vessel cruises leisurely back to harbor.

Disembark at Bhaya Café, Halong City. Transfer back to Hanoi. End of services.

13:30Continue on to discover Ho Ba Ham Islet, the most remote point in Lan Ha Bay and bordering the Gulf of Tonkin.Visit its quaint fishing village and lagoon.Possibility of kayaking through an amazing tunnel under a karst mountain (time permitting).

09:00Guided kayaking tour of Hang Luon, perhaps the most beautiful lagoon in the Bay, where you can expect to see monkeys, birds and other wildlife.
10:30Visit the top of Titov OR Soi Sim Islet and enjoy 360 degree views of Halong Bay.
12:00Fresh seafood lunch is served onboard while cruising to the Hang Toi area.
13:30Kayak around the Hang Toi area then visit Van Gia fishing village (time permitting).

Children Policy:
* Only one child under 5 can share the cabin with parents, free of charge.
* Children aged from 6-11 share cabin with two adults on mattress will be charged at US$ 121/child/night, limiting to one child per booking only.
* Children from 12 years old will be charged as the same as adults.

Liability Conditions:
- Bhaya Cruises is a cruise operator and as such passengers may encounter personal and physical discomfort or risks. Bhaya Cruises expects every passenger to board the vessel to fully understand the risks involved and is prepared to accept that those risks form part of the nature of the charter. Management and Crew of the vessel undertake to provide every possible and reasonable precaution and to take all due care in the course of its operation, however, responsibility for illness, accident, death or property damage or loss, lies with the passenger.
- Bhaya Cruises will also not be held liable for any breach of contract caused directly or indirectly by civil unrest, an act of God or natural disaster, force majeure, industrial dispute or war.

  • Cruise itinerary and schedule are subject to change due to weather, tide levels and operating conditions.Swimming, kayaking or snorkeling excursions may be cancelled due to poor weather.Unused services are not subject to a refund.
  • Meals onboard are fusion:Vietnamese, seafood & international.Guests should advise of any special food preferences, allergies or dietary requirements at least one (1) day prior to the cruise date.
  • Advance registration is required with full name, date of birth, nationality, gender, passport number and visa expiry date for all passengers.
Surcharge of 25% will be added to the charter rate for cruises on December 24 & 31.
