Program 1 : SAIGON- CAI BE- DONG HOA HIEP
(Trip of 1 day, departure from Saigon)
Departure for Mekong delta, an immense and fertile plain that constitutes a basket rice of Vietnam. We arrive in Cai Be. Then departing from our own pier in Phu An hamlet at around 10.00 am.
Upon embarkation onCai Be Princess boat, clients are welcomed with fresh cotton towels.
The tour will start with the visit of Cai Be colorful floating market, cruising among local sampans coming from all provinces of the delta full of fruits and vegetables. Your sampan will proceed to Dong Hoa Hiep island located between Vinh Long and Cai Be. During a 40 minutes cruise, you will be able to discover beautiful landscapes along the river and observe the typical Mekong delta rural life. These evergreen islands among the Mekong River still remain unknown to many people.
Visit at an ancient mandarin house dating from the 19th century where the family will welcome you with a cup a tea.
Back on board, we will lead to you to observe the activity of the biggest rice stock market. Further, others stops will allow you to see a traditional bricks and tiles factory and how locals are using palm leaves for houses. Cruising 20 minutes further to Phu An hamlet passing by Cai Be beautiful church, we will have a visit at some interesting home factories to see how rice paste is made, but also rice cookies, coco candies, as well as longan fruits drying process.
Lunch will await you at Le Longanier, a superb Indochinese villa located in a lush tropical garden by the river, surrounded by fruit orchards.

Program 3 : SAI GON- CAI BE- PHU AN
(Trip of 1 day, departure from Saigon)

Further, a visit will be done at an ancient Mandarin house dating from the 19th century where you will be greeted by the family.
We will proceed to Phu An, an untouched remote area reflecting some of the best sights the Mekong Delta can offer. On the way, an optional stop can be made at local home factories where you can see how rice paste and rice popcorn are made.
A delicious lunch will be served at Le Longanier, a superb Indochinese villa located in a lush tropical plantation, by the river.

After lunch, your sampan will cruise deeper into the country side on smaller canals and arroyos passing under several small traditional bridges made by wood and bamboos. Stops can be made during the cruise to visit some fruit markets and plantations on the banks (bananas, water melon, and longans), an opportunity to make contacts with local inhabitants. Along the river, local houses are still traditionally made of wood and palm tree leaves. On the river banks, you will observe some very large rice fields while cruising between numerous suspended fishing nets, an ancestral way of fishing in the Mekong Delta.
The cruise will end at around 3pm at Phu Nhuan Bridge near Cai Lay.
(*) An optional bicycle tour can be arranged on the banks, through the country side.
Return to Saigon. Have lunch at local restaurant. End of Service.

Program 4 : SAI GON- CAI BE- VINH LONG- SA DEC

Departure for Mekong delta, an immense and fertile plain that constitutes a basket rice of Vietnam. We arrive in Cai Be. Then departing from our pier in Phu An at around 10.00 am.

The tour will start with the visit of some local factories to observe rice paste making, rice pop corn, coco candies, and longans drying process. We will proceed to Cai Be colorful floating market cruising among barges full of fruits and vegetables...
We will then cruise to Dong Phu, Binh Hoa Phuoc and An Binh located between Vinh Long and Cai Be. These evergreen islands among the Mekong River bring about large networks of meandering rivers, criss-crossed with countless arroyos, and remaining unknown to many people.
A stop can be made on the way to visit some fruits orchard.
We will cross the Co Chien river then cruise under the spectacular My Thuan Bridge. A visit will be made at Dinh Tan Hoa ancient provincial house built by the French some hundred fifty years ago, located on the river banks. We will then proceed the cruise up-stream on the Tien Giang River, one of the two large arms of the Mekong. The water way is getting narrower while the banks are appearing more attractive with beautiful landscapes.
Passing by several traditional bricks and tiles factories along the river, we will have an interesting visit at one of them.
Back on board, we will reach Sa Dec at around 1.00pm. After a cruise along narrow canals, observing interesting activities on the banks we will disembark at the local market place near by the river. The excursion will end at around 3.30pm.
Your own private transportation vehicle will await you for your transfer back to Saigon. Have lunch at local restaurant. End of service.

The excursion starts from Upon embarkation on your river junk, you will be welcomed with fresh cotton towels.
The cruise will begin with the visit of Cai Be colorful floating market cruising among local barges full of fruits and vegetables. We will then proceed to Phu An hamlet, an untouched beautiful area reflecting some of the best sights the Mekong Delta can offer.
On the way, stop will be made at some local home factories to observe how rice paste, coconut candies and other regional specialties are made.
A delicious lunch will await you at "Le Longanier" restaurant, a superb Indochinese villa located by the river, in a lush tropical garden surrounded by fruit plantations.
After lunch, your boat will cruise deeper into the country side along smaller rivers and canals. Visits on the river banks will allow you to discover some fruit markets and plantations such as bananas, water melon, coconuts, longans, and some very large paddy fields...
Occasion will be given to establish friendly contacts with the local population.
Along the river, local houses are still traditionally made of wood and palm tree leaves.
We will cruise under several small bridges traditionally made by wood and bamboos, passing by numerous suspended fishing nets, an ancestral way of fishing in the Mekong Delta.
Day 2 : DONG HOA HIEP– AN BINH- VINH LONG
(Overnight at local house by the river-basic accommodation)
After breakfast, back on board Cai Be Princess to proceed the excursion from Dong Hoa Hiep to An Binh and Vinh Long, a peaceful escape where you will be able to discover the rural life style and daily activities of the delta inhabitants such as roofs making with palm tree leaves, a bricks and tiles artisanal factory, net fishing..
Lunch will await you at a fruit orchard plantation near Binh Hoa Phuc islet. After lunch, discover beautiful landscapes on the river banks, cruising along Dong Phu canal, and An Binh islet. These evergreen islands among the Mekong River bring about large networks of meandering rivers, criss-crossed with countless arroyos, and remaining unknown to many people.
Stop for a visit of Tam Ho’s famous bonsais garden.
After cruising for about 30 minutes on a small arroyo, we will reach your home for the night (Mai Quoc Nam or Muoi Dai), some traditional charming construction built by the river.
Disembarkation and check in. Rest of the day at leisure in a peaceful and romantic atmosphere. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3 : AN BINH- VINH LONG- SA DEC
After breakfast, back on board your private sampan for your last day cruise in the delta.
Crossing the large Co Chien River we will pass under the spectacular My Thuan Bridge.
A visit will be made at Dinh Tan Hoa, an ancient provincial house built some hundred fifty years ago.
We will proceed the cruise up-stream on the Tien Giang River, another large arm of the Mekong. On the banks, some dark smokes in the sky will lead us to one of the biggest bricks and tiles factory where we will you have an interesting visit.
Back on board, we will cruise to Sa Dec. On both sides of the river, locals are recolting water jacinth, another famous Mekong delta product used for furniture and baskets.
The town is appearing like a little “Venice” with numerous narrow canals, with a lot of activity on the banks.
At around 3pm, you will disembark at the local market place, one of the biggest of the delta.
An optional visit of Sa Dec charming and peaceful town can be arranged by your own, walking along its narrow streets and beautiful old houses and Chinese temples dating from the last century, well described in M. Duras novel “The Lover”.
Your own private transportation vehicle will await you for your transfer back to Saigon. Return to Saigon. Have lunch at local restaurant. End of service.
