LE COCHINCHINE is entirely made of wood in a hull built of Oak (go sao), Long of 27 m and wide of 6 m50, the Vietnamese essence traditionnally used for quality ships and now a rare deed and is powered by an isuzu (450 HP) engines and 1 generator 35KVA (220V-50HZ). It accommodates 20 passengers in 10 cabins with air-contioner and private bathroom with hot water.1 living-room (6m*3m), 1 restaurand and bar 7m*6m, a wide upper deck for contemplate sunset with an aperitif.
The ship has been launched in march 2006 and construction is scheduled to be finished by june 06.
LE COCHINCHINE is equipped with heat exchangers for hot water piloted by an automat that ensures constant shower water pressure and temperature. She brings along city water in sufficient quantities for long-haul cruises (10.000m3)
Program 1: CAI BE- CAN THO Day 1: CAI BE- TRA ON (L/ D)
Departure for Mekong delta, an immense and fertile plain that constitutes a basket rice of Vietnam.
We arrive in Cai Be, boarding LE COCHINCHINE boat. Explore the lively Cai Be floating market. Walking for visit the handicraft village of the local people. Sightseeing the old house and sample various tropical fruits.
11h00 Up for cruise to continue to Cantho via Cho LACH and TRAON.
12h00 Disembark Cho LACH village. Make a pleasant walking or biking on the footpaths of the countryside to discover tropical fruit orchards and the local people's activities, especially somes orchards (orange grove) with its famer.
Cruise to continue to Traon. Enjoy the magnificent sunset on the river. Leisurely cruise up the Mekong River while enyoying the beautiful scenery and the aperitifs, sunset cruise.
A wonderful day with picturesque ferry crossings over Mekong River branches. Dinner and nite on board in TRAON.
Day 2: TRA ON- CAN THO (B)
The noise of the floating market wake you up early in the morning After breakfast. The cruise to continue to Can Tho. Enjoy the magnificent sunrise on the river. Leisurely cruise up the BASSAC river while enyoying the beautiful scenery
Arrive Cantho, a small boat will take you explore the CaiRang market one of the most bustling floating markets in Mekong Delta with hundreds of small boats barging and jostling for space as owners attempt to sell their goods. And through the palm-shaded creek to see local houses and green orchards.
10h00 Disembark then return to Saigon. Have lunch at local restaurant. End of service.
Program 2: CAN THO- CAI BE
Day 1: CAN THO- CHO LACH (L/ D)
Departure for Mekong delta, an immense and fertile plain that constitutes a basket rice of Vietnam. We arrive in Can Tho, boarding at Ninh Kieu pier at noon. A small boat take you to explore the CaiRang market one of the most bustling floating markets in Mekong Delta with hundreds of small boats barging and jostling for space as owners attempt to sell their goods. A small boat will take you through the palm-shaded creek to see local houses and green orchards.
Return the boat.Then the cruise continue to Caibe via Tra On.
Leisurely cruise down the Mekong while enyoying the beautiful scenery. Lunch on board
After lunch disembark then A pleasant walk on the footpaths of the countryside to discover tropical fruit orchards and the local people's activities, especially somes orchards (orange grove) with its famer and sample various tropical fruits in LACH village.
Then return the boat to cruise to Caibe. Enjoy the magnificent sunset on the Co Chien river.
Dinner and overnight on board in Caibe.
Day 2: CHO LACH- CAI BE (B)
After breakfast on board over splendid sunrise on the Mekong.
Explore the lively Cai Be floating market in early morning.
Walking for visit the handicraft village of the local people. Sightseeing the old house and sample various tropical fruits.
A small boat trip through rivulets of Tan Phong islands. A pleasant walk on the footpaths of the village to discover tropical fruit orchards
10h00 Disembark in Caibe. Return to Saigon. Have lunch at local restaurant. End of service.

Arrive in Vinh Long island we then embark on a walk or bike for sightseeing tour of the Culao BINH HOA PHUOC
Le Cochinchine sets sail to Cantho via Cho LACH and TRAON.
Disembark Cho LACH village. Embark on a pleasant walking or biking on the footpaths of the countryside to discover tropical fruit orchards and the local people's activities. Enroute to visit a cottage industry, a local farm and sample seasonal fruits.
